PhotoOp is a Windows (NT/2000/XP
or Vista) program that helps you to build screen savers from your image, audio
and video files which are then presented as a collage of multiple scrolling
pictures, slide shows, or rotating 3D photo shapes. Dialogs, menus, accelerator
keys, and online instructions help you to easily construct and instantly test
your creation while your screen saver runs. When you're satisfied, the program
can create an installable package which may be distributed as an Internet download,
e-mail attachment, or on diskettes or CD's. Create screen savers for use on
your own computer, distribution to friends and family, to promote your web
site, business or organization or create commercial quality screen savers for
sale with license agreements, read me files, media encryption, icons, scrolling
messages, evaluation periods and registration numbers. Built-in optional feature demo.
- Picture play lists of an unlimited number of
images may be constructed from jpg, gif, bmp, avi,
mov and mpg files. Unicode text provides optional
multi-lingual captioning.
- Sound play lists of an unlimited number of
midi and wave files may be constructed. If the Windows Media Player is
installed, 12 additional audio formats including mp3 and RealAudio may be
placed in the lists.
- A rotating 3D photo shape textured with your
images and constructed from built-in geometry, imported shapes, text
messages or captions.
- A package of the currently configured screen
saver may be produced for distribution on floppy disks, CD-ROMs, or
Internet Downloads. The package includes the PhotoOp screen saver engine,
the options settings, the Picture, Photo Cube, Sound, Globe, Watermark and
Background files compressed together with an installation and uninstall
program.
The Shareware Edition
makes most of the program features available for a 15 day evaluation
period. The Personal Edition enables you
to create screen savers for use on a single computer. The Professional Edition adds the capability
to package and distribute screen savers to others. The Enterprise Edition adds features that facilitate the
construction of commercial quality packages.
The capability to evaluate the creation and packaging of screen savers
for distribution is present in all editions of the program. However, screen savers that use unlicensed
features generate a periodic solicitation to purchase the required
license. This restriction is removed
when the license is purchased and installed.
All licenses other than the Shareware Edition are valid on a single
computer. There is, however, no restriction on the distribution of screen
savers created with the Professional or Enterprise Editions of PhotoOp.
